Descriptions

Product Name

The Philips 41 Crypto Tag Transponder Chip (also known as ID41 or TP13) is a high-security transponder designed for select Nissan and Infiniti vehicle models from the late 1990s to early 2000s. It is commonly embedded in key head shells and utilized by immobilizer systems that rely on the ID41 encryption protocol.

  • Chip Type: Philips/NXP PCF7935A (ID41), aftermarket SKU TP13.
  • Compatibility: Found in vehicles such as Nissan Maxima (1999), Infiniti I30 (1999), as well as earlier models of Nissan Laurel, Micra, Navara, and Primera that used ID41 systems. Not re-usable or cloneable in most cases.
  • Programming: These chips are precoded and must be programmed or synchronized with the vehicle’s immobilizer system using specialized key programming tools or via OBD diagnostics.

Once correctly programmed, the Philips 41 Crypto Tag (TP13) chip restores full key functionality—allowing secure ignition and immobilizer access for compatible Nissan and Infiniti vehicles using the ID41 system.
