The key operates at 434 MHz frequency and uses a HITAG-AES (4A chip) for secure immobilizer communication. It includes a flip blade emergency key that is Included with part number TIK-JEP-74. This key requires a diagnostic key programmer for setup as it cannot be programmed by on-board procedures. It is reusable after unlocking and carries OEM part numbers 68416784AA, 68416784AC, and 68416784AD. The key uses a CR2450 battery.
